Did you know that our Julia was the second woman priest ordained in the Diocese of the Central Gulf Coast?

Evelyn Seymour was the first, in 1977.  Julia was ordained on February 24, 1990 at St James Fairhope, by Bishop Duvall.

It was a wonderful start for women in the Diocese!  Many women followed her.
